Grey Iron and SG Iron Castings

Tech Powertrain presently produces mainly clutch castings comprising of clutch pressure plates and covers for various clutches and flywheels of different makes and models of vehicles.

Since castings have very vast application, we are well equipped to make Grey Iron and Ductile (SG spheroidal-graphite) Iron castings weighting from 1lb to 75lbs as per specified grades exactly conforming to the content and characteristics thereof according to Indian or International metallurgical standards.

For instance, for our present line of production we adhere to following grades:

  • Cast iron (CI) Grade GR 25 (G-2500) IS 6331, ASTM A 159-83
  • Cast iron (CI) Grade GR 35 (G-3500) IS 6331, ASTM A 159-83
  • Ductile Iron (SG spheroidal-graphite) Grade 80-55-06, ASTM A 536-72, SAE J 434C-D5506
